Gosnold, a longtime provider of addiction and mental health services in Massachusetts, seeks a Counselor for 40 hours weekly with weekend coverage in Wareham. The role starts in Falmouth and will relocate to Wareham this Fall.

Salary ranges depend on education: non-master's $24–$25, master's non-licensed $26–$27, master's licensed $28–$30. The counselor will assess patients, develop care plans, provide individual and group counseling, and coordinate with care teams, all while adhering to

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year supervised counseling in substance use disorder treatment or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans and continuing care plans.
• Complete required documentation per Gosnold policy and standards.
• Provide individual and group counseling and psycho-educational sessions.
• Coordinate care with other professionals and/or family.
• Follow Gosnold ethics and confidentiality policies.
• Engage in continuing education for certification requirements.
• Build documentation, assessment, case management, and treatment planning skills.
• Interact with patients professionally and maintain boundaries.
