Job summary

BrightView Health in Ohio is seeking an experienced Counselor to support recovery-focused care within our treatment team. You will lead group therapy, conduct intake assessments, and help monitor progress while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary onsite team.

The role requires state-appropriate licensure, a Bachelor's degree, and a proven ability to provide crisis de-escalation, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; state licensure as applicable.
• 2+ years of relevant counseling experience preferred.
• Active licensure consistent with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings and document in the electronic health record.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
