Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking an Addictive Disease Support Services Specialist (ADSS) to assist individuals with substance use related diagnoses. The role emphasizes skill building, resource linkage, and smooth transition back to the community.

The ADSS works within a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, support recovery, and connect clients with available community resources and crisis support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, Criminology, or related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in behavioral health, specifically substance use disorders.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with skill building, resource linkage, and transition to the community.
• Ensure caseload contacts and release of information for care coordination.
• Provide crisis support and participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment meetings.
• Develop individualized service/recovery plans in coordination with supervisors and teams.
