Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Dalton, GA is seeking an Addictive Disease Support Services Specialist (ADSS) to help individuals with Substance Use related challenges. You will assist with skill building, resource linkage, and transition back to the community, under supervision in a team setting.

The role emphasizes coordinating care, crisis support, and collaboration with multiple agencies to ensure comprehensive recovery plans and successful community reintegration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, human services, criminology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in behavioral health, specifically focusing on substance use disorders.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure all individuals on caseload are seen at documented frequency per the treatment plan and that release of information is in place for care coordination.
• Assist individuals with development of interpersonal, community coping skills, and resource linkage through education, training, and modeling.
• Provide assessment, monitoring and assistance to consumers with self-management of symptoms to encourage recovery.
• Link and/or advocate with other agencies to garner needed resources for individuals.
• Provide assistance and support in crisis situations.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment/recovery team meetings.
• Contribute to development of a comprehensive individualized service/recovery plan focused on recovery.
• Work with supervisor/area manager for assigned region; coordinate with community programs and bill accordingly to payer.
