Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking an Addictive Disease Support Services Specialist (ADSS) to assist individuals with substance use-related needs, provide skill-building, resource linkage, and support for transition to the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health case management or recovery services.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals on caseload are seen as per the treatment plan frequency and release of information is documented.
• Assist with development of interpersonal and community coping skills and resource linkage.
• Provide assessment, monitoring, and assistance to consumers for self-management of symptoms to promote recovery.
• Link and advocate with other agencies to obtain needed resources for individuals.
• Provide crisis support and participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment/recovery team meetings.
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive service/recovery plans focused on recovery.
