Job summary

Helen Farabee Centers is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist/Recovery Coach to deliver support services to individuals with opioid and other substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health concerns. The role emphasizes lived experience, recovery advocacy, and community-based engagement in an outpatient setting.

You will provide peer support, model stability in recovery, and assist clients with self-determination and connection to services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or a GED.
• Eligibility for designation/certification as a Peer Provider and/or Recovery Coach within the first 4 to 12 months of hire.
• Personal lived experience with a substance use disorder and/or a co-occurring disorder is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services and peer support in an outpatient setting.
• Serve as consumer advocate and information resource for individuals receiving services.
• Monitor Recovery Support Services participants for up to one year and collect required data.
