Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Peer-to-Peer Support Specialist Training (or working toward) or WRAP Facilitator training.
• Eligible to become Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) in Virginia.
• Background checks: Fingerprinting, CPS check, DMV check, Defensive Driving Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to adults with substance use disorders.
• Conduct screenings and recovery-oriented service planning.
• Assist with individual goal development and recovery plans.
• Facilitate daily living skills training and recovery education.
• Co-facilitate recovery-oriented groups using lived experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
• Collaborate with hospitals, Emergency Services, and Crisis Stabilization teams.
