Qualifications

  • Valid Michigan driver’s license with reliable transportation.
  • Must obtain Peer Support Specialist certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Offer guidance and support to individuals dealing with substance use, trauma, or mental health issues.
  • Engage clients in recovery partnerships and help identify hopes and solutions.
  • Teach recovery and life skills using recovery tools.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to arrange services and resources.
  • Document client progress and maintain complete, compliant records.
  • Attend meetings with the team and participate in outreach activities.
  • Provide advocacy and peer support, sharing experiences to aid recovery.
