Chestnut Health Systems seeks a Peer Recovery Specialist who uses lived recovery experience to support individuals along their recovery journey, from pre-treatment to aftercare. You will help connect clients with treatment, resources, and pro-social activities, while documenting care and coordinating services.

The role emphasizes ROSC and TIC, engaging families, and promoting empowerment and wellness through community connections and advocacy.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years in recovery or a combination of experience and education totaling 5 years.
• Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) or preference for crisis intervention training.
• Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, email, and EMR usage.

• Assist in linking individuals to treatment services, recovery supports, and community resources.
