Job summary

Recovery Network of Programs in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Recovery Coach to support individuals in sustained recovery at Tina Klem Serenity House. You will lead group sessions, provide one-on-one coaching, and connect clients with community resources.

The role requires at least 2 years of recovery experience, CCAR RSS certification, strong boundaries and ethics, and excellent communication. Training in MAT knowledge is a plus; this is a hands-on position in a clinical setting with diverse

Qualifications

2+ years lived experience in stable recovery required.
CCAR Recovery Coach Academy and/or RSS training completed.
Established expertise and practices related to professional boundaries and ethics.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships.
Good communication skills.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, Outlook skills.
Ability to project a professional image.
Demonstrates skills needed for employment in a clinical and medical treatment environment.
Experience facilitating recovery meetings and groups is preferred.
Knowledge of or experience with medication assisted treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide recovery coaching through self-directed, strength-based principles.
Lead group discussions, activities, and one-on-one coaching using active listening and motivational interviewing.
Facilitate continuity of treatment and warm handoffs to higher levels of care.
Conduct screenings as first contact for potential new admits.
Connect clients to community resources and pathways of recovery.
Prepare supervision agendas and use supervision to meet job demands.
Assume other duties as needed by supervisor.
