Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a qualified clinician to deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in office and community settings. You will engage clients to discuss substance use, help set recovery goals, and build coping strategies within a therapeutic relationship.

Responsibilities include counseling (individual/group/family), developing treatment plans, coordinating with referral sources, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred; experience equivalency considered.
• Experience in behavioral health, criminal justice or social services is acceptable.
• Recovery experience is helpful but not required.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing 10%, Sitting 90%, occasional bending/kneeling etc.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate use of family, social and community resources and advocate with external agencies.
• Provide individual, group and family counseling covering psycho-educational, addictions and daily living skills.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment/discharge plans.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to review goals and progress.
• Maintain communications with referral sources and provide court testimony when requested.
• Meet billable hour productivity standards.
• Complete ANSA/CANS assessments and reassessments on time.
• Complete clinical documentation within two business days of service.
• Complete treatment plans and authorizations in a timely manner.
