Job summary

Eskenazi Health's Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center in Indianapolis seeks a dedicated Peer Recovery Specialist, GF to assist clients in accessing recovery-oriented treatment, resources, and community supports. The role spans inpatient/outpatient settings and emphasizes a holistic, recovery-based approach.

You will work with a clinical team, conduct initial assessments, document services in the electronic health record, and provide crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active and unencumbered peer recovery certification CPSP/CPRC- variants.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a certified peer specialist.
• Valid Indiana driver's license.
• Must meet population-specific competencies for role and service areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to access recovery-oriented treatment and supports.
• Bridge fragmented treatment systems to holistic care.
• Provide peer recovery services across community settings.
• Document services in the electronic health record.
• Offer crisis management and de-escalation as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social services.
