Monte Nido Houston, located in Conroe, TX, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, implementing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and developing motivation and engagement in treatment. Our goal is to help each client understand their eating and/or exercise disorder and its impact on their life, along with an individualized plan for recovery.

We are seeking a full-time Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in mental health and the eating disorder field!

Availability needed for day shifts (6am-2pm) and evening shifts (2pm-10pm), with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities Include

• Support clients throughout their recovery journey as a key team member.
• Provide support and intervention in line with the client’s treatment plan.
• Engage clients in developing healthy connections with others in the milieu and team.
• Assist in food preparation and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Participate in therapeutic groups and develop skills to promote clinical growth.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally, drive clients to off-site appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of post-high school education; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong communication and client relations skills; service orientation; flexibility; team player.
