Axiom Care is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-focused peer support and assist with front desk operations in our Phoenix outpatient setting. You will greet clients, help with check-ins, and guide them to scheduled groups and services, while maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed communication, documentation, and collaboration with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Peer Support Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to members by promoting recovery, wellness, and positive engagement throughout the clinic environment.
• Maintain a consistent and supportive front desk presence to foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist members with checking in, locating scheduled groups, and navigating the clinic.
• Engage members in recovery-focused conversations and enforce clinic guidelines.
• De-escalate conflicts using trauma-informed, person-centered communication.
• Document interactions and observations per clinic policies and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other quality care activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
