SeaView Community Services in Seward, Alaska, seeks a dedicated Recovery Center Clinician to provide therapy in residential and outpatient programs. The role includes assessments, individualized treatment plans, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required in SW, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska preferred.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy in residential and outpatient programs.
  • Conduct assessments and create treatment plans.
  • Use evidence-based approaches including motivational interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, and medical providers.
  • Maintain clinical documentation per regulations.
  • Facilitate relapse prevention planning, coping skills development.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, training, and program development initiatives.

SeaView Community Services is seeking a dedicated Recovery Center Clinician to provide therapeutic support and counseling to individuals in our residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment programs. What You’ll Do:
  • Provide individual and group therapy for clients in residential and outpatient recovery programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, and medical providers to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Facilitate relapse prevention planning, coping skills development, and behavioral health interventions.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, training, and program development initiatives.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, required.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, preferred.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy in a behavioral health setting.
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria, trauma-informed care, and best practices in addiction treatment.
