Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist at our South Mountain Recovery Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports individuals with Serious Mental Illness or General Mental Health diagnoses, using personal recovery experience to assist clients and families.

You will conduct assessments, develop service plans, and deliver services with a focus on recovery. Strong communication, computer literacy, and a commitment to empowerment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related degrees considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in Spanish/ASL desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and individual activities to support recovery.
• Conduct assessments and care planning focusing on recovery and resiliency.
• Create and lead group activities for clients and families.
• Promote community integration, independence, and self-sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of member engagements.
