Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist for the Mitchell Recovery Health Center in Phoenix. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, at 40 E. Mitchell Dr., Unit #100, Phoenix AZ 85012.

Join an interdisciplinary team providing care under court ordered treatment to individuals with mental health diagnoses. You will leverage your lived experience to support clients and families, assist with assessments and service planning, lead group activities, and promote

Qualifications

• Experience providing peer support to individuals with mental illness.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Use your life experience to encourage and assist clients and families throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct assessments, service planning, and service delivery with a focus on recovery and resiliency.
• Create and conduct group activities for clients and families.
• Promote community integration, independence, and self-sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of member engagements.
