Job summary

The Department of Children and Families is seeking a Records Technician OPS to support the Family Safety Unit by handling intake, review, and assignment of abuse reports. You will coordinate with state information systems and ensure timely notification to supervisors and investigators.

Responsibilities include preparing intake case records for CPI, assigning cases in FSFN, and maintaining case logs, with emphasis on accurate data entry and organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of clerical experience preferred.
• Work rotating holidays and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and assign abuse reports from the Florida Abuse Hotline.
• Coordinate with FAHIS, CIS and FSFN for information and case status.
• Prepare intake case records for CPS investigators and assign cases in FSFN.
• Archive case files and maintain rotation and case logs.
