Job summary

Florida Department of Children and Families seeks a CHILD PROTECTIVE FIELD SUPPORT ANALYST to support CPI investigations and enhance data-driven decision making. The IA will coordinate referrals, assemble records, and assist in safety planning during investigations, reporting to the Family Safety Program Office.

Co-located with investigative staff, the IA will ensure timely information flow, collaborate with CPI and CPIS, and escalate concerns as required by policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Florida's Child Welfare system.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple activities.
• Strong relationship-building with partners and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in FSFN, Word, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals, appointments, and record retrieval in collaboration with CPI staff.
• Conduct Pre-Commencement consultations and review FSFN and law enforcement records.
• Requests for records include school, law enforcement, medical, and prior provider files.
• Review retrieved records to support assessment and decision making for each case.
• Interpret records to align with Florida’s current practice models.
• Flag high risk cases and ensure seamless investigative activities.
• Prepare written referrals for identified services requested by the CPI/CPIS.
• Coordinate staffing such as 2nd Tier, Substance Exposed Newborns, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate Subject Matter Experts to aid CPI decision making.
