The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Records Officer to support a correctional facility in the United States. You will maintain detainee records, perform data entry, and ensure compliance with ICE/ACA standards while protecting sensitive information.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Prior experience in a correctional records environment is preferred; the role requires discretion and adherence to strict confidentiality and security protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in correctional setting or related field preferred.
• Experience with office procedures and clerical duties.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detainee records and process documents.
• Data entry and filing of records for residents/detainees.
• Audit detainee files for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare detainee files for release.
• Support facility security and report violations as needed.
• Adhere to GEO policies and confidentiality requirements.
