Job summary

Jackson County Missouri is seeking a Recorder of Deeds staff member to provide marriage licenses, conduct records searches, record real estate documents, and answer telephone inquiries. You will handle money accurately, reconcile cash at close of day, and maintain excellent customer service while meeting the department's standard turnaround times for real estate documents.

This role supports a mission-driven team focused on accurate public records and responsive service for Jackson County

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or the equivalent.
• One (1) year of experience in record maintenance, law, or real estate.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
