City of Foley is seeking a Records Clerk to support the Police Department. The role involves greeting the public, handling inquiries at the service window, processing payments for records requests, and maintaining RMS records.
Key responsibilities include data entry, deposits, and archiving of records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and pass multiple background and screening tests including a typing exam.
Under general supervision, this position performs reception and referral duties for the Police Department. Performs basic data entry, records queries/requests, and file management. Receives/processes payments for records requests and discovery. Provides clerical support to staff and other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of experience in a job related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
Must successfully pass a typing exam, a criminal background investigation, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation, and drug and medical screenings.
