Job summary

The TALENT Software Services team seeks a Recordkeeper for remote support of defined contribution plan clients. You will process transactions, format data, run tests, reconcile balances, and produce client reports with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

This 2-month temp-to-perm opportunity offers remote work, exposure to plan design issues, trust reconciliation, and payroll consultation. Strong data interpretation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions to complete plan valuation, including contributions, loans, withdrawals, and earnings allocations.
• Format and load data for plan operations.
• Perform discrimination testing and other required tests for defined contribution plans.
• Request and interpret data, present results, and make recovery recommendations.
• Reconcile plan balances with trust balances through daily balancing and adjustments.
• Coordinate omnibus fund purchases and sales with third-party fund companies.
• Format and produce client reports such as valuation reports and participant statements.
• Participate in meetings to discuss plan design issues and payroll consultation.

Job Summary

Provides service and administrative support to defined contribution plan clients. Responds to requests for information and resolves administrative or service problems. Ensures all transactions are processed according to standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process transactions to complete plan valuation, including contributions, loans, withdrawals, and earnings allocations.
• Format and load data for plan operations.
• Perform and analyze tests required for defined contribution plans, such as discrimination testing.
• Request and interpret data, present results, and make recovery recommendations.
• Reconcile trust accounting/recordkeeping system on a plan level, ensuring plan balances match trust balances through daily balancing and adjustment analysis.
• Coordinate omnibus fund purchases and sales with third-party fund companies.
• Format and produce client reports, including valuation reports, participant statements, investment performance reports, and necessary tax and compliance forms.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls to maintain professional relationships and discuss plan design issues, trust reconciliation issues, and payroll consultation.
