Job summary

Royal Automotive Group in Tucson is seeking a Reconditioning Technician to inspect, service and repair used vehicles before sale. You will identify safety and drivability issues and ensure quality for customers across our Tucson locations.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of automotive service experience, a valid driver license, and the ability to perform physical duties. ASE certification is desirable; commitment to neat, professional appearance is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties associated with this position.
• Must have at least 3 years experience and/ or training.
• Post high school tech school or ASE certification desired.
• Must have an impressive work-ethic.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate a standard-transmission vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough inspection on used vehicles, accurately documenting mechanical, electrical, or performance issues.
• Expertly diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
• Maintains an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact
• Maintains leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials

The Reconditioning technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing used vehicles as assigned by the Reconditioning team. The primary focus is to identify and repair safety and drivability issues on used vehicles before they are sold to customers.
