Join to apply for the Reconditioning Operator (CNC Machining) role at Walter Tools.

Walter USA in Greer, South Carolina, is seeking a Reconditioning Operator for our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. Work hours are on the 3rd shift (11 pm - 7:30 am), with up to 6 months of training on 1st shift.

Responsibilities:

1. Program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment.
2. Optimize grinding programs.
3. Write programs for special tools and cutters.
4. Determine machining steps and sequence, and encode in the machine's programming language.
5. Prepare, measure, assemble work equipment, clamping devices, and tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years CNC grinding, machining, or other CNC metalworking experience.
• Ability to work safely and uphold high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing is preferred.
