Reconciliation Specialist, Client Services

Position Overview:

MedForce, an IQVIA business, provides best-in-class medical communication services to help life sciences companies connect with HCPs – and improve lives. Our services span the entire product life cycle for our clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will develop your career by working independently and as part of the Finance team, assisting management in performing complex reconciliations, researching, and proactively monitoring issues to finally balance all the accounts related to the projects. Candidates interested in this role should be organized, detailed oriented and be able to multitask different assignments while meeting monthly and quarterly deadlines.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaison between the Finance, Meetings and Account Directors Business Division Teams.
  • Compare financial information between multiple data sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect and file invoices from business partners for assigned projects.
  • Reconcile invoices, statements, and hotel folios.
  • Identify discrepancies, research issues, and communicate findings with meeting planners.
  • Balance all accounting entries and verify the amounts agree with the invoices provided.
  • Analyze budgets and actual expenses to determine if there are any adjustments required based on the original reconciliation provided.
  • Deliver final reconciliations to business partners on a timely manner.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Software/Technology:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and/or working experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skill set.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Proficient self-editing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks maintaining high level of quality while working under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of PhRma code guidelines.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, Excel & Outlook.
  • NetSuite knowledge preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $42,700.00 - $106,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
