Northern Trust Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Analyst for its Tempe team. The role focuses on reconciling our records with Investment Managers and vendors, processing pending trades, and ensuring accurate loan position data in a high-accountability environment.

You will work with internal teams to resolve breaks, document findings, and participate in process improvements while building a foundation in financial operations at a leading firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general Office applications.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily position reconciliations across assigned accounts using internal tools and MS Office.
• Research, identify, and resolve position breaks between Northern Trust, Investment Managers, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries via email.
• Process and validate pending trades and capitalized interest transactions for loan positions.
• Collaborate with Investment Managers and internal departments to address data discrepancies.
• Document reconciliation findings and track outstanding issues.
• Assist in special projects and process-improvement initiatives.
• Gain fluency in internal systems and reconciliation tools to support daily workflows.
