Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Reconcilement Specialist to manage daily and monthly reconciliations for GL accounts, internal DDAs, and control accounts. You will alert the Reconcilement Supervisor to any out-of-balance conditions and take action to resolve outages.

You will collaborate with peers, adapt processes, learn new systems, and ensure timely, accurate entries while complying with bank policies and regulations. Strong organizational skills and customer service focus are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of GL accounts, internal DDAs, and control accounts.
  • Ensure accurate processing of reconciliations and clear discrepancies within established timeframes.

Job description

SUMMARY:

The reconcilement area is responsible for the daily and monthly reconcilement of GL accounts, internal accounts, and all applications. This position is responsible for the daily reconcilement of bank records in accordance with established bank policies and procedures, alerting the Reconcilement Supervisor of any and all out-of-balance conditions, and taking the necessary action to ensure that outstanding outages are researched and corrected.

  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly reconcilement of GL accounts, internal DDAs, and control accounts.

  • Collaborates with peers and leaders effectively.

  • Learns new systems and processing in order to streamline and scale work.

  • Performs work within customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines.

  • Performs daily work as defined with accuracy.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
