WesBanco Bank Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to handle daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of GL accounts and internal records. You will investigate discrepancies, learn new systems, and support process improvements within a regulated banking environment.
The role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple teams to meet deadlines and service levels. Banking software familiarity and MS Office proficiency are beneficial.
The reconcilement area is responsible for the daily and monthly reconcilement of GL accounts, internal accounts, and all applications. This position is responsible for the daily reconcilement of bank records in accordance with established bank policies and procedures, alerting the Reconcilement Supervisor of any and all out-of-balance conditions, and taking the necessary action to ensure that outstanding outages are researched and corrected.

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.
