Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring a Reclaim Team Member at our Byron Center, MI location. You will receive, organize, process, maintain and dispose of unsaleable product in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with MHE, processing shipments, maintaining donation/vendor logs, and ensuring safety and cleanliness. You must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed and pass a safety-focused review.

Qualifications

• Move pallet on an electric pallet jack (MHE).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and walker riders to load/unload unsaleable product shipments as assigned.
• Receive, separate and process unsaleable products; repair or bag leaking product when applicable.
• Maintain a log of items to be donated, resalable, and returned to vendor as assigned; place processed product in designated areas by vendor.
• Keep the work area clean and dispose of trash properly.
• Follow safety practices; report incidents to management and request assistance as needed.
• Check and recharge MHE batteries; complete a Warehouse Equipment Inspection Sheet before operating equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
