Job summary

Tooele County School District seeks a part-time Recess/Classroom/Lunchroom Aide to support grades K-6. Under supervision, you will assist with structured recess activities, supervise lunch duty, and help teachers in the classroom.

You will promote safety, assist diverse groups, and maintain confidentiality while supporting a positive school environment. The role is 29 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with non-benefit eligibility and a salary schedule at Support Professional level E1.

Recess/Classroom/Lunchroom Aide -

Position Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the building principal, to provide daily opportunities and lessons for structured recess activities for grades K-6. Will also cover lunch duty for grades K-6. This position will require assisting teachers in the classroom.

• Overseeing safe usage of all equipment

• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Profile

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
