Job summary

Trinity Management, LLC is seeking a Recertification Specialist to manage annual and interim recertifications in our Boston properties, ensuring compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with affordable housing experience.

You will verify income/assets, communicate with residents, maintain audit-ready files, and collaborate with property teams. We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus, full-time hours, and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience required.
• Recertification experience required.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8 regulations.
• COS, HCCP, or other affordable housing certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Property Managers and site teams for smooth operations.
• Prepare for agency audits and file inspections.

We are seeking an experienced Recertification Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining compliance with affordable housing regulations while supporting residents throughout the recertification process.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong affordable housing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage a high-volume recertification portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage annual and interim recertifications from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely completion

• Process income, asset, employment, and third-party verifications in accordance with program requirements

• Maintain compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and other affordable housing regulations

• Communicate with residents regarding required documentation, deadlines, and program requirements

• Maintain organized resident and applicant files to ensure audit and inspection readiness

• Monitor recertification schedules, lease renewals, vacancies, and compliance deadlines

• Assist with applicant processing, waitlist management, and occupancy tracking as needed

• Support resident relations by responding to questions and providing exceptional customer service

• Assist with rent collection activities, notices, and general administrative responsibilities

• Partner closely with Property Managers, Occupancy Specialists, and site teams to ensure smooth community operations

• Prepare for and support agency audits, compliance reviews, and file inspections

Compensation & Benefits
