Our facility offers a diverse range of healthcare services, including an 80-bed Five Star Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center, three Urgent Care Centers, and various Primary and Specialty Care Services.

Position Summary
The receptionist is responsible for clerical, communication, and public relations functions within the Medical Staff Services Department.

Position Description
This is a Part-Time Temporary role at Auburn Community Hospital. The shifts are three 8-hour shifts per week, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

General Responsibilities

  • Receives and documents payments for services, providing accurate receipts.
  • Assists and guides patients, staff, physicians, and families, demonstrating willingness to help.
  • Answers and screens calls; relays messages and contacts personnel as requested.
  • Uses strong communication skills, including appropriate tone, diction, grammar, and terminology.
  • Follows hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Responds appropriately to emergencies per established protocols.
  • Provides accurate information to patients and visitors regarding delays and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
