Job summary

Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe is seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, answer calls on a multi-line system, greet visitors, and support daily office operations.

We offer competitive pay of $15.50 per hour, a welcoming team environment, and opportunities for growth within a well-established dealership family. Schedule includes Tue/Wed/alternate Fridays 3pm-9pm and Saturdays 7am-2pm.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional and courteous personality.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Basic computer skills including typing, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
• Previous receptionist experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate department or team member
• Greet customers warmly as they arrive and provide assistance or direction
• Provide professional, courteous, and helpful customer service
• Log fuel slips and key packets accurately
• Assist management with clerical, administrative, and other day-to-day tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
• Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations and appropriate coverage
