Job summary

Valle Vista Health System is seeking an outpatient receptionist to support our Greenwood, IN site. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and includes full benefits.

You will greet visitors, answer calls, and check in patients for outpatient services, with clerical support as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years on a multi-line switchboard, preferably in healthcare, and is comfortable working in a hospital-based outpatient

• Education/Licensure: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

The Outpatient Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering calls, and checking in patients. In addition, the receptionist may assist with various clerical duties and projects assigned by the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Education/Licensure: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment, computer skills and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment, preferred.
