Job summary

RB Global, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to perform clerical tasks in an office setting, handling calls, directing visitors, and supporting daily operations.

You will assist staff, manage check-in procedures, help the Mailroom, provide top-tier customer service, support meetings, coordinate supplies, and work closely with security and the team to maintain smooth office workflows. The role emphasizes friendly service, reliable attendance, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 2 years of in-person customer-facing work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to learn new software and computer systems.
• Strong customer service mindset under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments.
• Assist staff and on-site visitors with check-in and directions.

• Support the on-site Mailroom as needed.

The Part-Time Receptionist is responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations. The duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, directing customers accordingly to various departments as requested. The Receptionist will provide a wide variety of support.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls accordingly to various departments.
• Assist staff and on-site visitors with check-in and procedures and direct accordingly
• Ensure that superior customer service is always delivered to all customers, internal and external
• Assist and provide support to the Mailroom as needed
• Provide additional administrative support as needed for on-site meetings and conferences
• Work within a team and maintain an open line of communication
• Support of the security team as required
• Order and stock office supplies, as needed

Qualifications

• Previous work experience (2 years) where you worked in-person with customers
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Experience using computers, and able to learn to use new technology and software
• A commitment to providing fantastic customer service
• Able to work well and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations
• A full-time, in office position
