Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

Greet each patient with a warm, friendly smile, making sure they feel at ease the moment they step in.
Handle all incoming calls, book consultations, follow-up appointments, and coordinate patient visits with our surgeons.
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, keep records secure, and ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately.
Help set up and clean treatment rooms, ensuring a sterile environment. Assist with basic patient care, such as applying numbing cream when needed.
Guide patients through insurance inquiries and verify coverage to ensure all billing details are current.
Manage a variety of patient needs with professionalism and patience, keeping a calm and composed demeanor, even during challenging situations.
Keep patient files organized, both digital and physical, and assist with managing office supplies and maintaining a clean, welcoming front desk area.

Qualifications of the Receptionist:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional healthcare certifications are a plus).
Previous experience in a medical office, especially in plastic surgery or cosmetics, is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in office software, including scheduling systems and patient management software.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
