The Receptionist is responsible for managing incoming calls, supporting administrative staff, and maintaining a professional front-facing presence for the hospital. This role is essential to the smooth flow of communication and operations within the facility.
This is a PER DIEM position, which means there are no guaranteed hours. You would work as needed to provide reception coverage when shifts become available. There may be opportunities to pick up a significant number of hours from month to month, so we are seeking someone with flexibility.
Education:High School diploma or GED required.
Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred; student experience in higher education considered.
Proficient in use of computers.
Customer service experience or aptitude to be able to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, visitors and the general public.
Team oriented, positive attitude and take imitative during down time.
Ability to work independently and use downtime productively.
