Job summary

Sonrava Health in Washington, DC seeks a friendly receptionist to be the face of our dental practice. You will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage check-in and charting processes.

Qualifications

• Experience using multi-line phones and computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and departure.
• Respond to patient questions per company policies.
• Answer telephones and route calls accordingly.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Maintain the appointment book and confirm appointments.
• Follow up on no-shows or cancellations.
• Register patients at sign-in and assist with chart filling.
• Handle cash transactions and payments.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Office Manager or PDM.
• Support local marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and new patient growth.

• Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to company Policies
• Answering Telephones
• Scheduling Appointments
• Maintaining Appointment Book
• Confirming Appointments
• Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
• Register Patients on sign in sheet
• Chart Filling
• Cash Handling
• Checking voicemail on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
• At all times you will perform and undertake such other duties and responsibilities as are requested of you by the Office Manager or the PDM
• Supports strategic local marketing initiatives that help drive brand awareness and new patient growth
• All other duties as assigned
