Job summary

Evergreen Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a receptionist to join our caring team. You will be the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors, helping create a warm, inclusive atmosphere and supporting daily operations in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with office equipment and computer applications.
• Empathy and understanding towards residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Receives inquiries and releases information per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and resident activities.
• Receives newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents.

What You'll Do

As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within our facility by acting as the first point of contact for all residents, families, and visitors. Qualifications of a Receptionist include:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
