Blue Oak Post-Acute, a skilled nursing and therapy center in Santa Rosa, California, is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist willing to train. The role offers flexible scheduling, front-office support, and a friendly welcome for patients and guests.

You will handle phones, assist the administrator, and maintain a tidy front office while delivering courteous service in a busy healthcare environment. Prior experience isn't required, but outstanding communication and composure are essential.

Qualifications

• Outstanding communication (verbal and written) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in all work-related situations.

Responsibilities

• Displays a positive, professional image managing multiple personality types with kindness and patience.
• Assists the Administrator in day to day tasks.
• Serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phones.
• Effectively operates the facility phones and paging systems.
• Exhibits excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and phone lines.
• Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis.
• Cheerful disposition and ability to handle stressful situations with tact and kindness.
• Responsible for keeping the front office areas sanitary, neat and orderly.
