Job summary

Chelsea Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet visitors and oversee front desk operations in a full-time role. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a pay rate of $15 per hour.

You will manage calls, emails, mail, and basic bookkeeping, while maintaining professional communication and organized workflows across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience as receptionist or in an administrative role is required.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily front desk operations and support facility activities.
• Handle phone calls, emails, correspondence, packages, and other communications promptly.
• Sort and distribute mail and manage basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Track office supply inventory and place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Prepare and submit reports as requested by leadership.
• Provide administrative support to colleagues and departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support office efficiency.

Responsibilities for Receptionist:

• Coordinate daily office activities and support overall facility operations.
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails, correspondence, packages, and other communications professionally and promptly.
• Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Support basic bookkeeping and administrative recordkeeping tasks as needed.
• Track office supply inventory and place orders to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Prepare and submit timely reports as requested by leadership.
• Assist colleagues and departments with administrative support as needed to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and office environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support office efficiency and resident services.

Qualifications for Receptionist:

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a related administrative role is required.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software, including Excel.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration or related field preferred.
