Job summary

Vibra Healthcare's Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a PRN Receptionist to support the front desk, greet visitors, manage calls, and perform basic clerical tasks in a fast-paced rehab setting.

The role requires a professional image, good multitasking abilities, and attention to detail; prior receptionist experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. This position is on-site and PRN in nature.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous receptionist experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience with multi-line phones and data systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance is desired.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; professional image.

Responsibilities

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. Responsibilities

The Receptionist is responsible for serving as first impression specialist for Front Desk, greeting visitors, vendors and answering main phone line. Performs clerical duties as assigned, such as charge entry, admissions paperwork, filing, and copying.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Current, valid, and active driver’s license preferred.
• One (1) year previous receptionist experience preferred.
• Multi-line phone system experience, data system experience and healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
