Rosecrance Ware Center in Rockford, IL is seeking a professional receptionist to handle front-desk duties, switchboard tasks, and various clerical responsibilities. Strong communication and a polished presence are essential for delivering compassionate service at a behavioral health facility.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, onsite at the Ware Center. A base rate of $18.00 per hour accompanies a comprehensive benefits package, with daily pay options and tuition/licensure support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reception experience or equivalent education/training.
• General clerical training or experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work hours assigned by leadership and be available to work additional hours when necessary.
• Respond to all incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate parties or taking messages as necessary.
• Welcome all visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate parties or locations.
• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned.
• Answer calls from the inquiry line and direct as assigned.
• Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption and storage limitations, per security policies.
• Participate in PCI training and regular security assessments per PCI DSS guidelines.
• Serve as a Clerical Team member and participate in team meetings and activities.
• Adhere to Rosecrance Compliance and Code of Conduct principles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.

Position Summary

Perform receptionist and switchboard duties and miscellaneous clerical tasks.

Qualifications:

• General clerical training or experience

7. Participate in mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) training, access controls, and regular security assessments, all aligned with PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) guidelines.
8. Serve as a member of the Clerical Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
9. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
10. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
11. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
12. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Compensation:

• Base Rate:Starting at $18.00 hour (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
