Job summary

Rosecrance, Inc. is seeking an on-site receptionist to handle switchboard duties and general clerical tasks at the Rosecrance Ware Center. The role requires welcoming visitors, directing calls, and performing routine clerical work to support daily operations.

The position offers 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm) with base pay starting at $18.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reception experience or equivalent background preferred.
• General clerical training or experience helpful.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route phone calls and direct inquiries as needed.
• Welcome visitors and guide them to the appropriate party or location.
• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned.
• Handle inquiry line messages and direct as necessary.
• Adhere to PCI DSS guidelines and protect cardholder data.
• Participate in required PCI training and access controls.
• Support the Clerical Team and attend team meetings.
• Follow Rosecrance compliance and conduct principles.
• Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
• Model professional behavior for staff and clients.
• Take on related responsibilities assigned by leadership.

Position Summary

Perform receptionist and switchboard duties and miscellaneous clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Reception experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• General clerical training or experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

1. Work hours assigned by leadership and be available to work additional hours when necessary.
2. Respond to all incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate parties or taking messages as necessary.
3. Welcome all visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate parties or locations.
4. Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned.
5. Answer calls from the inquiry line and direct as assigned.
6. Perform secure handing of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols.
7. Participate in mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) training, access controls, and regular security assessments, all aligned with PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) guidelines.
8. Serve as a member of the Clerical Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
9. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
10. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
11. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
12. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

• Base Rate: Starting at $18.00 hour (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
