Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living, Meadow Ridge in Redding, CT, is seeking a part-time receptionist for a 19-hour weekly schedule (Thu–Sun). The role greets visitors, manages calls, schedules appointments, and assists residents with errands as a courteous concierge.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong telephone system skills. Per diem options may also be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possesses expert knowledge of telephone system and capable of teaching others.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors upon arrival.
• Handles phone calls professionally and routes or answers questions.
• Offers refreshments to visitors when applicable.
• Manages appointment books for residents and beauty services.
• Acts as concierge for residents, coordinating taxis, deliveries, and issues.
• Keeps lobby clean and organized.

Meadow Ridge is seeking a part-time Receptionist

Part Time opportunity 19 hours a week to cover the below schedule

Thursday & Friday 4pm-8pm, Satruday & Sunday 2:30 pm - 8pm

Hourly wage range $18.00 -$19.25

Per diem opportunity also available

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors immediately upon arrival
• Professionally handles all phone calls and routes callers or answers questions in a timely and courteous manner
• Offers refreshments (coffee, water, etc.) to visitors, where applicable
• Manages doctor appointment book and beauty appointment book.
• Manages beauty and barber appointment book
• Acts as concierge for residents (calling taxis, handling telephone and/or cable problems, checking newspaper deliveries, etc.)
• Keeps lobby clean and neat, free of clutter and trash

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred.
• Possesses expert knowledge of telephone system and capable of teaching others
