Job summary

Benchmark Meadow Ridge in Redding, CT is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide attentive dining service to residents, guests and family members. You will prepare trays, serve meals according to menus and therapeutic diets, and maintain clean, sanitary dining areas and stations.

The role requires following instructions, knowledge of dietary procedures and health regulations, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides dining service to Residents, guests and family members as needed.

• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

FT and PT opportunities available

Weekend availability required.

Hourly wage range $17 -$18.25
