Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a part-time Front Desk/Medical Office Assistant for Plymouth Family & Internal Medicine. The role involves clerical tasks, patient scheduling, and processing patient financial accounts in an ambulatory care setting.

Hours are 24 per week, day shift, with benefits from day one and opportunities for tuition assistance. We value teamwork, compassion, and a patient-centered approach as we support our mission.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous training in general medical office skills preferred.
• Proficient and knowledgeable of medical terminology preferred, but not required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Previous training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred. Proficient and knowledgeable of medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One to two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred. Experience may include cashier, basic account posting, billing, filing, reception, telephone, or computer operations.
