Job summary

First Community Credit Union welcomes applicants for a front-line Member Services role. You will greet members, assist with their financial needs, and maintain a welcoming lobby environment. You will handle account information with precision and uphold FCCU's reputation for friendly, professional service.

The position emphasizes accurate communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach to helping members achieve their financial goals in a community-focused credit union setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Preferred experience with a multi-telephone system.
• Competitive team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced member service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service to members and maintain community trust.
• Greet members in person, on the telephone, or by email and nurture relationships as you serve financial needs.
• Maintain a professional, organized lobby environment and signage upkeep.
• Update and manage member account information with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Be the face of FCCU, projecting a positive image to current and prospective members.

Job Responsibilities

• Arrive each day full of energy and ready to provide unsurpassed customer service to our members while maintaining our tradition of community trust.
• Cheerfully and in a professional manner, you greet them in person, on the telephone, or by email and enjoy developing and nurturing relationships as you serve their financial needs.
• Ability to maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front-office or lobby environment, including upkeep of signage.
• Proficiency in updating and managing member or customer account information within computer systems, with strong attention to accuracy and timely follow up.
• You provide engaging, personal service to members and truly care about finding real solutions to their financial needs. You are goal-oriented and always learning and improving. You take pride in being the face of FCCU and projecting a positive image to our current and prospective members alike!
