Job summary

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Welcoming each guest and answering each phone call in a warm and friendly manner and with a smile;
• Answering all phone calls in a timely manner routing calls and distributing messages to appropriate parties;
• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the reception area;
• Assisting Human Resources staff with administrative tasks as needed;
• Order and restock supplies for reception as needed;
• Accepting mail, packages, and other deliveries, storing items until appropriate parties receive delivered items;
• Maintaining a petty cash box and reporting to the Accounting Department as needed;
• Securing access to the visitors' entrance at opening each morning and at the end of each day;
• Responsible for operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained;
• Maintaining knowledge of key departments, personnel, and building layout in order to assist guests and staff;
• Managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining friendly, welcoming demeanor;
• Providing positive, warm, and friendly customer service in all interactions;
• Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Employee must be 18 years of age or older;
• High school graduate or equivalent;
• At least 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minimum typing experience;
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00, depending on experience.
